National Night Out in Arlington - 2005
The Civic Federation and Neighborhoods Celebrate


On August 2, 2005, Arlington, its neighborhoods and the Civic Federation celebrated National Night Out. This annual national event promotes crime and drug prevention awareness and strengthens neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships. In Arlington it brings community police officers out to socialize with neighbors and is a great occasion to enjoy an evening outdoors.

Arlington Civic Federation Executive Committee Members met in Clarendon to have dinner out in celebration of NNO. Auxiliary Police Officers Pfeiffer and Dempsey are shown here.

Alcova Heights hosted an ice cream social in Alcova Park.
